Marty Tanner is a Director of Sales Effectiveness for The Brooks Group. Marty brings 30+ years of experience in sales, sales management, and sales training to deliver programs that drive both immediate and long-term results. His enthusiasm and relatable style allow him to connect with participants and drive change that produces real results in the field.
Career and Education
Marty obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso.
He began his career in Human Resources and then transitioned into sales as an individual contributor. After much success, Marty moved into sales management, where he received numerous awards and accolades
Marty later joined the HCR-ManorCare HealthCare team as a sales trainer, moving up quickly to Director of Sales Training for the 3.2 billion dollar company. It was here that Marty was introduced to IMPACT Selling, where he rolled the system out as a customized training to meet the needs of Skilled Nursing, Rehab, Recruiting, Assisted Living, and Staffing Organizations.
Under Marty’s leadership, IMPACT Selling was successfully integrated into the culture and day-to-day operations of HCR-ManorCare. In addition, Marty implemented the Kirkpatrick ROI system to measure the results of training the 600+ sales force in IMPACT.
A long-time champion of IMPACT Selling, Marty began facilitating training programs for The Brooks Group in 2019.
