Rich is the Director of Operations for The Brooks Group. In this role, Rich is responsible for documenting and improving processes related to the organization, security, and accessibility of The Brooks Group’s Intellectual Property. In addition, Rich heads up The Brooks Group’s recruiting, onboarding, and internal professional training efforts, and leads various other special projects.
Career and Education
Rich is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer who served as an In-Flight Avionics/Ordnance Technician on the P-3 ‘Orion’ aircraft. Rich has traveled extensively around the world—having set foot in over 40 countries—and has a special place in his heart for the Philippines.
While in the Navy, Rich earned his BA in Business from Columbia College in Columbia, Mo. After leaving the Navy, he spent 12 years as a recruiter and Director of Training for an executive search firm, where he focused on identifying, attracting, and hiring “C” suite and VP-level executives for Fortune 500 companies, and where he built the firm’s first comprehensive onboarding and training program.
Interests and Hobbies
Rich is an avid runner, motorcycle enthusiast, and Carolina Panthers fan. He and his wife Karina love to take long rides on their Harley Ultra, and have traveled on it through the Appalachians, the Poconos, the Adirondacks, and into Maine and Canada.
