Jennifer brings over 25 years of experience in the learning and development field, from instructional design to facilitation. She has been involved in product development, customer service training, and crisis management solutions throughout her career. One of her greatest strengths is aligning client needs with the right training and solutions. One of Jennifer’s personal core values reflect the need for customer centric approaches to help others succeed in what they are do, while creating new possibilities for individuals and companies.

Serving as our Vice President of Learning and Product Innovation, Jennifer’s responsibilities include designing curriculum and product solutions which honor the legacy content of The Brooks Group and speak to the modern day seller and leader. Jennifer oversees a team of exceptional instructional designers and product developers to create strategic approaches for client learning.  Jennifer has worked for The Brooks Group for over 5 years with many of our clients as well as with the Marine Corps Recruiting Command. During her time with us, she has created several new products and helped to push the limits of learning to a new level, infusing best practices for adult learning into each new design.

Career & Education

Jennifer worked at Aetna US Healthcare in various roles, including compliance, finance, sales, and quality assurance areas. She participated in the instructional design and development of national sales conferences, product rollouts, and employee engagement learning.

She also worked at Freddie Mac for 15 years, part of which we worked for the Chief of Staff and Government Relations. While at Freddie Mac, she focused on reputational risk and employee development. During the national housing crisis Jennifer developed Customer Experience Homeowner Assistance Certifications and partnered with Congressional Staff and other government offices to resolve complex homeowners’ mortgage issues. Throughout, she helped design the quality standards that Freddie Mac had to communicate to help homeowners through the crisis. Her tenure at Freddie Mac was capped as Learning and Development Program Manager, working with sales and the Single Family teams to curate and ensure solutions for their development.

While working at Aetna and Freddie Mac she received many awards including Customer Excellence Champion and Premier Achievement.

Jennifer received her undergraduate degree from Moody Bible Institute, her Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate for a Doctorate in the Philosophy in Education with Organizational Leadership concentration.

Interests & Hobbies

Jennifer lives in San Diego where she enjoys the sunshine and beautiful weather. She enjoys being part of her church community and helping with small group curriculum and training. She also enjoys traveling and serving with non-profit organizations throughout the world. Her most recent trip was to Ethiopia to assist in a training for a designated local community.
