Tony Smith is the Director of Sales Strategy Consulting for the Sales Performance Research Center. Tony draws upon a diverse background of training, speaking, sales, and marketing to consult with organizational leaders and identify solutions to overcome the challenges holding them back from growth. Tony brings over 12 years of experience in the sales training industry to his consulting role at the Sales Performance Research Center.
Tony’s high-energy, driven, and focused entrepreneurial spirit allow him to confidently approach myriad client business problems with ease. His willingness to take risks is backed by a keen intelligence that enables him to develop on-target solutions for his clients’ most difficult business challenges. Relationships truly matter to him and he believes that we should all approach everyone with a sincere desire to help in whatever way possible.
At Piedmont College in Demorest, GA, Tony double-majored in English and psychology. He went on to spend two years in Law School before deciding that his true calling was in business. Drawing upon a diverse background of knowledge, he made a social commitment to help his community as an executive with The Boy Scouts of America in Sanford, NC. After years of successfully recruiting executive-level volunteers and leading top-performing fundraising teams, he decided to pursue his entrepreneurial spirit and launched a successful web-based fragrance business. Upon turning the business over to his wife, he joined The Brooks Group in 2007.
