Greg Brown is a Director of Sales Effectiveness for The Brooks Group. Greg’s background in sales, sales management, recruiting, training, and business ownership allow him to deliver programs that drive both immediate and long-term results. His passion and relatable style set Greg apart and keep participants feeling motivated, engaged, and capable of making the changes that lead to the greatest impact.

Greg’s career experience gives him the insight to work with both new and established businesses to create vision, set goals, plan strategies, and implement tactics. His strength in creating measurement processes and conducting progress reviews help him deliver training that achieves both short and long-term success for clients.

Career and Education

Greg has a BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Alabama, with a double major in Corporate Finance and Money and Banking.

Greg began his career in sales and distribution management, and has achieved numerous national sales awards and held a variety of leadership roles, including independent business owner. He also has served as a resident sales trainer for Nationwide Insurance and Financial and has held various roles in which he was responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training new sales staff.

During his time as a Sales Trainer at Nationwide’s Corporate Training Center, Greg led on-site training classes for new and experienced agents focusing on sales process training, product orientation, and business management techniques. The position evolved to include frquent travel to conduct regional training workshops for established agencies.

Greg has extensive experience consulting with established agencies to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies for achieving goals.

Interests and Hobbies

In his free time, Greg is involved in a variety of music activities including singing and playing guitar, mandolin, and bass. He’s also an avid golfer.
