The Marketing Specialist Will:
- Manage the end-to-end planning and execution process for marketing events, industry conferences and trade shows, executive speaking engagements, and keynotes. Ensure event logistics are executed correctly and on schedule.
- Manage event vendor relationships (conference organizers, AV providers, etc.).
- Own inventory of marketing event materials, including collateral, signage, booths, audio-visual equipment, etc.
- Manage sponsorship needs and internal coordination to complete those tasks (blog posts, external partner emails, etc.).
- Coordinate shipping to and from various event locations and manage setup details with on-site contacts.
- Own inventory management of company swag and other promotional products.
- Assist in the planning, design, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns, including social, email, campaign calendars, etc.
- Coordinate internal and external webinar programs, including owning the full timeline for all pre- and post-webinar logistics.
- Act as a liaison between marketing and sales teams in communicating around marketing activities, sales collateral, client appreciation gifts, and advocates list.
- Work in HubSpot to qualify leads, maintain data accuracy, upload lists, draft emails and social, and more.
- Own process for nominating The Brooks Group to win various industry and employer awards.
- Support marketing in various administrative tasks as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing events, webinars, or similar work experience.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
- Strong willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, personal accountability, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus (HubSpot, Canva, Monday.com, etc)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 1-3 years of events-related and/or client relationship management experience
- Professional services and B2B industry experience are strongly preferred
- Digital marketing experience is a plus
