The Brooks Group, founded in 1977 and multi-time winner of The Triad Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” awards, is looking for an experienced Client Programs Leader to join our team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with a track record of success in growing sales of professional services using self-generated and company-generated leads and presenting to VP- and C-level prospects.

The Group Vice President of Sales Will:

  • Regularly meet and exceed established sales targets.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans to ensure sales goals are attained.
  • Convert qualified leads into profitable opportunities by following an established sales process.
  • Identify and pursue prospects to introduce The Brooks Group’s offerings and services to drive positive revenue for the organization.
  • Solicit referrals from existing clients to develop and grow sales portfolios.
  • Proactively manage current account base to retain and grow accounts.
  • Develop tailored recommendations for sales training, sales management training and sales assessment for prospects and clients.
  • Attend client workshops and events as needed to nurture account relationships.
  • Develop and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews to key accounts.
  • Practice all aspects of The Brooks Group’s client-facing sales training, sales management training and sales assessment practices in selling efforts.
  • Maintain and update accurate contact, account and opportunity information weekly within CRM (HubSpot).

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience – minimum of five years’ experience in sales in a complex sales environment selling an intangible product/service
  • Experience – Working with Senior company executives, especially the VP of Sales and/or VP of Learning and Development
  • Design – generate creative solutions to meet client objectives
  • Problem solving – gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Customer service – respond promptly to client needs; solicit client feedback to improve service; respond to requests for service and assistance
  • Oral communication – speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; demonstrate group presentation skills
  • Planning/Organizing – prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; set goals and objectives; develop realistic action plans
  • Dependability –respond to management direction; keep commitments
  • Initiative – take independent actions and calculated risks; look for and take advantage of opportunities; ask for and offer help when needed
  • Innovation – display original thinking and creativity; meet challenges with resourcefulness; generate suggestions for improving work; develop innovative approaches and ideas

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year College or University
