U.S. Air National Guard awarded Stevie® Award for Hiring and Recruiting Program of the Year

Las Vegas, Nevada – February 12, 2009 – The Brooks Group would like to congratulate its client, the Air National Guard, on winning the 3rd Annual Stevie® Award for Hiring and Recruiting Program of the Year. The honor comes on the heels of a phenomenal recruiting turnaround for the Air Guard.

After partnering with The Brooks Group, The Air National Guard completed their fiscal year 2008 recruiting cycle at greater than 106% of goal, despite the unique challenges posed by recruiting in a wartime environment. The Brooks Group’s COO and military recruiting training authority, Kevin Reinert, expressed his pride and satisfaction at the Air Guard’s achievement. “The Air National Guard is all about service to country and community. Their teams of highly dedicated recruiting and retention personnel, located across 54 states and territories, have done a spectacular job of ensuring the Air National Guard attracts and retains the very best people to support their critical national and state level missions. This Stevie Award is a fitting tribute to their remarkable hard work and success in the past year.

The ANG was selected from more than 500 entries from companies of all sizes and industries. This was the second straight year that a military client of The Brooks Group has captured a Stevie Award. Last year, Air Force Reserve Command Recruiting Service received similar recognition.
