Steve Hackett has been a driving force in The Brooks Group’s growth for nearly 2 decades. Steve combines his years of experience as a college football coach with his extensive background in sales and sales management to transform his client’s sales coaching programs, and in turn, their sales performance. 

Steve’s many years in the sales effectiveness industry have allowed him to work with a wide range of clients and selling environments. His ability to spot challenge areas along with his gift for “coaching the coaches” has improved the sales performance of thousands of salespeople from all levels of sales—from transactional to highly complex strategic deals.

Steve’s passion is ensuring that training participants go back to the field with usable, effective sales skills. He’s unquestionably The Brooks Group’s “go-to-guy” for the sales and sales management expertise in the industrial distribution and equipment sales industries.

Steve earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. He played college football and was team captain for three years there when Bill Brooks, founder of The Brooks Group, was head coach. Nearly 2 decades ago Steve decided to put his considerable coaching talents to work at The Brooks Group, training and coaching salespeople and sales managers.
