Mike D’Angelo is a skilled speaker, trainer, facilitator, and coach with a passion for helping people improve their sales expertise, revenue goals, leadership, and management skills. Mike is passionate about sales and leadership and the sharing of best practices in this profession.
Mike’s abilities to inspire, motivate, mentor, and build strong relationships are revealed at all levels of business through his vast experience in several roles from an individual sales contributor up to executive level management in sales, marketing, and leadership. Mike is very comfortable with diverse groups and cultures along with simplifying complex issues and solving problems. Mike leverages his experience to assist participants during their training because he can truly relate to what they are experiencing and understands their challenges.
Career and Education
Mike has received several degrees including a BS in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan College, an AAS of Applied Science & Engineering from Alfred State College, an MBA in Business Administration and Finance from Medaille College, and an Ed.D. in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College.
For more than 22 years, he has worked in sales and sales leadership positions with clients in the Unites States and abroad to optimize sales, build strategies, navigate workplace dynamics, lead & build successful teams, and command winning results.
Mike has worked for small, medium-sized, and Fortune 500 companies during his tenure with titles such as Vice President and Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and all with the common denominator of building successful teams in a high growth environment. Mike also founded a successful startup company, which he grew and ran for 5 years before selling to a friendly competitor so he could move on to other projects.
Interests and Hobbies
Mike lives in Raleigh, NC where he enjoys spending time with his family. Mike also likes to travel and take trips to either the mountains or the beaches. He reads a lot about current events, economic trends, and information that relates back to sales & leadership trends and best practices. He is a continuous learner. Also, he likes to invest in real estate and manages a small portfolio of properties.
