Marvin joined The Brooks Group as Director of Sales Effectiveness in 2015. With over 14 years of recruiting and training experience, Marvin strives to create positive and motivating environments within every training program that he leads.

Career and Education

Marvin received an Associate’s degree in Human Resource Management from the Community College of the Air Force, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Management from Park University and an MBA from Columbia Southern University.

Marvin began his career as a Recruiter/Supervisor for the Air Force, where he created recruiting programs to staff local units and fill leadership positions. During this time he achieved 150% of his assigned recruiting goals year-to-year.

Marvin moved on to Western Recruiting District Training Manager, where his responsibilities included supervising local trainers and overseeing various training functions including initial skills, continuing proficiency, upgrade, and annual refresher training. He then held the role of Regional Recruiting Manager where he directed training functions for new recruiters and was recognized as Top Regional Manager in 2012 and 2013.

Marvin received the “Recruiting Service Goal Excellence Award” for three consecutive years after guiding a team that exceeded 140% of the annual goal.
