About the Marketing Operations Manager Role

The Brooks Group, founded in 1977 and multi-time winner of The Triad Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” awards, is looking for an experienced Marketing Operations professional to join our team. This position requires residency in the Triad area of North Carolina.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual who can consistently deliver excellence in coordinating all of our marketing efforts.  In addition, this position is responsible for basic reporting, monitoring and analyzing data from our marketing automation database, overseeing social media efforts, and assisting in copywriting and copyediting.

The Marketing Operations Specialist will:

  • Coordinate marketing activities to ensure marketing project deliverables are achieved on time
  • Daily updates of marketing reporting data including site traffic and lead activity
  • Monitor and analyze performance data: identify trends and behaviors within marketing automation system and make recommendations based on findings
  • Create and maintain marketing calendars within marketing project management platform
  • Align with industry associations to promote content and discover advertising/sponsorship opportunities (webinars, speaking engagements, etc.)
  • Manage social media posting and community management
  • Assist in marketing The Brooks Group’s products and services via email marketing
  • Manage HubSpot (marketing automation software): managing lists, monitoring emails, tracking events, managing forms and workflows, creating reports, etc
  • Email marketing management: create, manage and monitor emails campaigns to increase lead generation and identify areas of improvement
  • Write and distribute press releases

Skills/Qualifications:

Digital Marketing, Marketing Research, Coordination, Project Management, Writing for Blog Content, Basic Analytics Reporting, Process Improvement, Initiative and Planning.

Technical Skills:

MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics or similar tool, Email Marketing (HubSpot, Bronto, YesMail, ExactTarget or others), Salesforce or other CRM, Marketing Analytics.

Education/Experience:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent; or 1-3 years related marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and marketing experience.
