The Brooks Group Wins 2011 Stevie® Award For Sales Training Practice of The Year
World’s leading business awards recognizes The Brooks Group in what proved to be the most competitive year for the Stevie® Awards with more than a 60% nomination increase.
Greensboro, NC – February 24, 2011 – The Brooks Group was officially presented with the 2011 Stevie Award for the Sales Training Practice of the Year category in the fifth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
The awards are presented by the Stevie Awards, which organizes several of the world’s leading business recognition events including the prestigious American Business Awards.
The awards are governed by a Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors that features many of the leading figures in business. More than 800 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s competition; an increase of more than 60% over 2010.
“It was harder than ever to be recognized as a finalist – only 35% of entries submitted earned Finalist status.” explains Michael Gallagher, President of the Stevie Awards.
Having earned the Finalist Status in several categories over that last five years, this is the second Stevie Award won by The Brooks Group. In 2006, The Brooks Group was presented with the Stevie Award for the category of Consulting Sales Organization of the Year.
