Greensboro History Museum

Located a short walk from The Brooks Group office, the Greensboro History Museum has 17,000 square feet of art and stories. Adjacent to the museum is Mary Lynn Richardson Park, where visitors can enter 18th and 19th century historic homes.

International Civil Rights Center & Museum

Located a few blocks from The Brooks Group office, the International Civil Rights Center & Museum sits in the building that formerly housed the Woolworth’s where four teenage NC A&T State University students sat down and began America’s sit-in movement that sparked a nationwide push for racial equality.

Greensboro Ghost Tours

Whether you believe in ghosts or not, you can enjoy a stroll through downtown Greensboro’s streets guided by the eerie glow of candlelight. Listen to the stories of local haunts and see where some of downtown’s departed inhabitants still linger. If seeing is believing, come and see for yourself.

Throughout Greensboro, visitors can go on a self-guided scavenger hunt of sorts while exploring massive walls of artistic creations. Kotis Street Art has worked with artists from all over the world to create over 100 installations, turning blank walls and vacant buildings into works of art.

Elsewhere Museum

Located downtown, Elsewhere is a collaborative artistic workspace and interactive gallery housed in a three story former thrift store. This living museum, creative laboratory is a great retreat from the busy downtown streets.

Ableside Gallery

First founded in Manchester, England, Ambleside Gallery has a 38-year history with a reputation for high artistic standards and commitment to the community it serves. Representing more than 30 artists from all over the world, the hand milled cherry wood arches and faux painted walls set the stage for continuously changing displays of extraordinary talent.

Lebauer & Center City Parks

Located across the street from The Brooks Group offices, Center City and LeBauer parks are great for taking a break from business to get some fresh air. With art installations, restaurants, and weekly live music, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy.

Green Hill Cemetery

Established in 1877, Green Hill Cemetery is made up of 51 acres of historic memorials and an unofficial arboretum. Volunteers are available to take guests on historical and botanical tours. Visitors are also welcomed and encouraged to take a lunchtime stroll or enjoy a picnic at this historic site.

Shane’s Sporting Clays

Located just north of Greensboro, Shane’s Sporting Clays is a family-owned range with a 14 station course along with practice traps for beginners.
