  • Does Hype Sell Products?

It seems that everyone loves to hype or overhype their products nowadays.  Personally I hear a lot of wild claims and am put off from buying.  There must be some people who buy into it because the technique is used a lot.  Do you use hype when selling your products, does it work for you?

Great question and no we do not hype our products.  The focus should be on the prospect/client and what they would like to have happen (problem or issue solve etc.).  By hyping the product you put the focus on the product not the prospect/client.  The best of the best (salespeople) keep the focus were it needs to be not on the product.  When you present your solution you showw how your product will provide the solution for them.  I hope this helps.  Good selling!
