In 2005, Kevin Reinert joined The Brooks Group, where he is responsible for managing all of the firm's government-sector business, as well as providing sales coaching services to clients in the commercial sector.  His current focus is the ongoing training of more than a thousand of military recruiters and retention specialists for the US Air Force Reserve and the Air National Guard, teaching them IMPACT Selling principles to help recruit and retain top-quality personnel.

Kevin earned his expertise in IMPACT Selling first-hand – on the job with a key Brooks Group client, the United States Air Force Reserve.  While in the Reserve, Kevin spearheaded the organization's effort to incorporate best practices from sales techniques used in the private sector, working with The Brooks Group to train 400 military recruiter/salespeople on a customized version of the IMPACT Selling System.

Kevin’s experience in the government sector prepared him well for managing the day-to-day details and tracking the progress of many of The Brooks Group’s largest clients.  He is known for his clear and patient teaching style and ability to guide salespeople who are new to IMPACT Selling and The Brooks Group's assessments through the process of applying their new knowledge to their real-world sales situations.

A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Adelphi University, Kevin also graduated with honors from the Department of Defense Information School and the Air War College. He retired as Colonel after a distinguished 28-year career, most recently serving as Director of Public Affairs for the Air Force Reserve.  While serving with the US Air Force, he was decorated 10 times for meritorious achievement, including the Legion of Merit.

Kevin enjoys investing time with his family: wife, Jean, a Lt. Col. in the Air Force Reserve; son, Philip, a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical College; and daughter, LeeAnne, a high school student.  When he's not in his Brooks Group office or on the road working with a client, you can find Kevin on the golf course, refereeing lacrosse, or enjoying a sundae on Wacky Wednesday at Carvel Ice Cream.

“I would especially like to single out Kevin Reinert, who has been there from the very beginning and has done a masterful job at guiding us through the myriad of challenges one would expect to encounter when trying to train over 500 men and women in a new sales method – and all at the same time!  He's an outstanding individual and a very gifted instructor…”
(Randy D. Johnson, Lt. Col. USAF, Chief – ANG Recruiting and Retention Division)

“Kevin,
I want to thank you for helping me be a better salesperson.  I want to say that IMPACT Selling is much different than any sales process I have ever been involved in… I learned a lot from your telecoaching sessions.  I feel that I am a better consultant now.  Thank you again.”
